Check that Motion & Fitness permission is enabled for BagWatch, media volume is high, and the phone is positioned near the top of the bag. Sudden lifts, carries, and sideways snatches are detected by independent motion sensors.
Open Settings → Customize Siren, record a short voice clip, and enable Voice Alert. Recordings stay on your device and are never uploaded.
